Vic Armstrong
Vic Armstrong is the husband of Dr. Charletta Armstrong and the father of Carter, Alonzo, and Victor Jr. He is a mental health advocate and serves as Vice President for Health Equity and Engagement for AFSP. He is National Director of Soul Shop for Black Churches. Additionally, Vic serves on the National Response Steering Committee of the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention and the board of directors for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) of NC. He is a member of NAMI NC and National Association of Social Workers. Vic obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) from East Carolina University.
Vic has been honored to receive the Living Waters Annual Mental Health Summit 2022 “Lifetime Mental Health Champion” Award and the National Association of Social Workers North Carolina (NASW-NC) 2022 Social Worker of the Year.
